Medical Help Needed for Barc Houston's Stabbed GSD
Barc Houston's Gsd Linda was stabbed when her owner (a homeless man) got into brawl. Poor Linda, for no fault of her own, ended up on euthanasia list at the pound. Luckily SSS rescued her on time, thanks to a lovely foster family who stepped up for her.
UPDATE : Layla is now adopted to a wonderful home in Pennsylvania.

The biggest problem in Houston (and Texas) is an insane number of unfixed pets and backyard breeders. We spay neuter all our pets before sending them to their forever homes. Shelters do not fix rescue dogs or cats. Therefore each dog or cat needs help to get sterilized under our care. Spay-Neuter costs can run between $ $300

We have rescued a few dogs from the shelter who need daily joint supplements for arthritis or hip dysplasia, as well as surgery for injuries they sustained from living on the streets.
